Horoscope
(January 2008- Forecast)
Aries (March 21 – April 20)
Saturn’s move into Virgo highlights
the area of health (or lack thereof).
If you’ve been looking after yourself
you’ve nothing to fear, if not, maybe
it’s time to redress the balance.
Work and health are linked, so don’t take
on too much and do get a good night’s sleep.
Digestive difficulties may correspond with worry,
poor diet and rushing meals so eat healthily and chew
your food.
A heart-to-heart may not turn out as expected leaving you
feeling dazed and confused. Be patient because attempts to
force matters could backfire.
Lady luck shines on those born around 1st - 5th April.
Taurus (April 21 – May 21)
If the demands of home, family or
your private life have frustrated
your attempts to get ahead try to
be patient, because with Venus moving
forward again you’ll soon be back on track.
This is an excellent period for creative work,
so consider taking a more businesslike attitude to
your talents since they promise to provide a source
of greater security, both emotional and financial, in the
future.
With Saturn in Virgo this is a good time to return to study,
especially in the areas of commerce, property, catering,
nutrition, the arts or simply something creative or
technical you enjoy.
Gemini
(May 22 – June 21)
Reluctance to hurt anyone’s feelings,
especially your own, could leave you
feeling like Saint Sebastian after
Cupid’s finished with you.
The reckless pursuit of pleasure could
prove costly in what should be an excellent
month for building relationships. With Mercury,
your planetary ruler, in Libra, you’ll get a buzz from
your ability to captivate hearts as well as minds, winning
the admiration and influence of the very people who hold the keys
to the kingdom.
However, with Mars in Gemini, best not to identify too strongly with
your opinions since your reluctance to agree to disagree could be
your undoing.
Cancer
(June 22 – July 23)
With Saturn finally leaving Leo you
can stop stealing clothes from
washing lines and wrestling squirrels
for peanuts. While you might miss the
adrenaline rush of living on the edge,
the more resourceful can expect an
improvement in fortune.
But don’t let that stop you bitching about the
superficial world we live in, where you’re judged more
on appearance than effort. It must drive you bonkers, working
like a donkey with little appreciation to find you can open doors
with just a smile. Since you’ve got it, you’ll be tempted to flaunt
it.
Leo
(July 24 – August 23)
Those Leos left standing deserve
a pat on the back. From the 2nd
Saturn leaves Leo where it’s been
since July 2005 and moves into Virgo.
Saturn encouraged you to get leaner
and meaner and spring clean your life so
as to establish a new path for yourself.
Saturn’s presence in Virgo focuses on getting your
finances in order. Financial considerations may encourage
you to exploit talents, skills and resources you’ve taken for
granted or even neglected. Older, wiser, breathe a huge sigh
of relief and watch as your natural sunny disposition returns.
Lucky time for those wiht birthdays that fall around 3rd- 7th August.
Virgo
(August 24 – September 23)
This month Saturn enters Virgo,
your Sun sign, so you’re likely to
feel Saturn’s influence personally.
Saturn brings responsibility and a
tremendous sense of purpose.
Powerful changes are ahead. Time to get
leaner and meaner and set out to make your
mark. By nature you prefer to be the power behind
the throne, pulling the strings but maybe you should consider
emerging from the wings and putting yourself forward to face the
music, the accolades and the occasional rip tomato.
However, don’t give yourself away too cheaply to those who lack
your compassion and humility, you still have to eat.
Libra
(September 24 – October 23)
Whether it’s the result of Venus
recent retrograde period, domestic
burdens or a peculiar thirst for
vaporous potions, there’s a strange
case of Dr Jekyll and Mrs Hyde about you.
With Venus finally moving forward again you’d
think you’d recognise that face in the mirror, except
Neptune’s casting a beguiling fog over matters. Thankfully,
with Mercury in Libra you’ll be the epitome of charm and very
convincing.
Nevertheless, be prepared to lock yourself away
occasionally until the 23rd. Otherwise tiredness or temptation
could leave you prone to outbursts, while tufts of dark hair grow
thickly on the backs of your hands.
Scorpio
(October 24 – November 22)
The movement of Saturn into Virgo
emphasises your social circle and
political aspirations. Saturn brings a
cosmic broom with it, spring cleaning
those areas to make room for new
growth.
Those of you involved in groups or
organisations may soon have the opportunity
to take on extra duties or a leadership role. Meantime,
others’ inability to put their cards on the table could make
your blood boil, but in your eagerness to get a straight answer
you could make matters worse if you try and crack a nut with a sledgehammer.
The quieter you become, the more you will hear.
Sagittarius
(November 23 – December 21)
Saturn’s presence in Virgo brings
it’s focus to your destiny, vocation
and status. If you’ve an important
goal you’d like to pursue, it’s time to
roll up your sleeves.
As your achievements grow, so too will
your responsibilities. With Jupiter, your
planetary ruler, in your Sun sign and Saturn on high,
the combination of luck and hard work will enable you to
make considerable progress in the months ahead.
Meantime, if you’re hot-to-trot for a romp in the hay, take your
blinkers off first or you could be taken for a ride.
Capricorn
(December 22 – January 20)
A pet project you’ve been working
towards could finally see the light of
day. Discussions and negotiations
are indicated but it may be difficult to
reach agreement when attempting to
value your contribution. If so, enlist the
help of a third party. Handle property matters
with care.
Meantime, growing interest in spirituality or a divine discontent
could leaving you questioning what really matters and result in
major changes in your life goals. This is a good time to take up
Yoga or meditation as part of a spiritual practice.
Aquarius
(January 21 – February 19)
You’re fast learning the art of
politics. Whether recent attempts to
galvanise the troops brings hearty
backslapping or bitchy backstabbing,
it may be time to adopt plan B.
Insomnia and financial uncertainty could be
connected. Nevertheless, you may have to wait
till after the 11th before you’ll be able to sort out
your finances and get some sleep. If you do have to
visit the bank, dress smart but resist the temptation to wear
tights over your head.
September promises an opportunity to share more than a stimulating rapport with someone increasingly enchanted and bewildered, by your goofy, oddball eccentricity.
Pisces
(February 20 – March 20)
When Her Majesty the Queen of England
opened her gates to the hoi polloi
there was a queue a mile long down
The Mall. You may have found yourself
in a similar scenario.
With Saturn in Virgo it’s time to consider
closing your doors and sifting through the
assembled throng. Time to segregate your loyal
fans from the sticky-fingered sycophants who just want
to plunder your crown jewels.
Meantime, if you’re serious about deepening your commitment
or making a fresh start then Saturn will help you through the
process, but if your stuck on the fence, Saturn will encourage
you to decide.
